Traditional Costumes (kroje)

Czech and Slovak traditional costumes are called kroje, pronounced kroy-ah. Though very common years ago, they are typically only worn for festivals that celebrate the rich traditions and cultures of the two countries. Czech- and Slovak-Americans also wear kroje, be they original or Americanized versions, for festivals.
