DescriptionA Piešt’any kroj made up of a blouse, jumper, apron, collar, sash, cap, and stockings. The blouse is white with a gathered neckline and puffed, elbow sleeves covered with yellow embroidery and cut work. The same stitching and cut work is echoed on each cuff and down its front opening. The jumper is made of a vest and skirt. The vest is a silver and orange brocade with red edging. The skirt is made of navy blue linen decorated with a white embroidered floral design, and white lace with yellow rick rack around its bottom.
The navy blue apron made of linen and lace. White lace accompanied by yellow rick rack lines its bottom edge and sides. A white embroidered floral design echoes the lace. The collar of yellow and white bobbin lace with a yellow embroidered ribbon at its top. The yellow sash covered with machine embroidery in red, purple, and green. The cap is white and covered with yellow embroidery and cut work. The face is framed with rounded wolf's teeth, a protective symbol. White rick rack insertions are on the back of the cap, as well as a bow of red machine embroidered ribbon in dark purple, white, yellow, and green.The stockings are white.On View
