DescriptionA hand-painted amphora basket in a goblet shape with a tall handle and an additional decorative piece on either side at the handle ends. These two decorative pieces are shaped like pointed elf ears. The basket is painted a slightly mottled brick red with the base and top edge a very dark blue. A band of mottled light blue with alternating white and red hearts lies around the goblet neck. The same theme is echoed around the top edge and images on the basket's front and back sides, only with circles instead of hearts. A man riding a horse is on the front and a close-up of a soldier is on the back. The handle and ears are a mottled beige with alternating red and blue hearts. The inside edge of the handle and portions of the ears are a mottled light blue. The basket's inside is painted luster green. A stamp on the bottom reads, "Made in Czecho-Slovakia Amphora".On View
