DescriptionA gold-colored pin with red accents that features two soldiers hugging. The words "Za Upevnovani Bojoveho Pratelstvi", roughly translated to "For Consolidating Combat Friendship", run around its border. Two short laurels and a red star are at the bottom of the pin. From 1948-1989, Czechoslovakia was under communist control and was called the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic.This pin was made in 1955 in commemoration of the Warsaw Pact, an agreement between the Soviet Union and seven other Eastern Bloc socialist republics of Central and Eastern Europe.
