DescriptionForty-nine separate, but nearly identical, depictions of a stylized bird that has a body leaning downward while its head tilts upward. The pieces range in size and are often framed in faunal designs. Some have sayings or greetings, like Home, Sweet, Home and Merry Christmas. Some of the birds sit atop a banner that contains the saying. Nearly all of the pieces are on an off-white paper, but one is on black and three are on blue. Nearly all are signed by the artist, Vaclav E. Vane or bear his initials.
