DescriptionA white splashcloth covered with red and light blue embroidery depicting a kitchen scene. There is a man sniffing at a pot that sits on a brick counter while a woman watches from a nearby bench. The man holds a newspaper and woman has a pot of food in her lap, as well as at her side. The scene is lined with floral designs on its sides and across the bottom. There is a small shelf with a coffee grinder and ground coffee container at the top of the scene. The words, "Muj drahý mužíčko máš li mne rád nech pekňe pukličky na hrncích stát" appear on the right side of the scene in light blue threading. Loosely translated, it reads "I love my dear husband best when he doesn't disturb my cooking pot.". Two rows of white rick rack accented with light blue stitching run around all sides of the splashcloth.
