DescriptionPart of a Bartered Bride coffe set, a white sugar bowl with a handle on either side. Both are accented with gold enamel lines. Gold enamel forms a ring aound the top of the bowl and forms a border for the images on the front and back of the bowl. Floral accents run down either side of the border. The image on the front contains a man approaching a startled woman with a village and townspeople in the background. The banner in the lower left corner reads, "Viz zde se podepsal Tři sta mu vyplatíme A tak se hosprostíme". The image on the back has a man and woman embracing as another man looks on. It has a similar background to the front, but its banner reads, "Staniž se tedy, staniž se, Dám vám své požehnání".Credit LineGift from Veruska Sloupova Hylsky
