DescriptionA violin with the carved head of Masaryk on the top of its scroll. Its back side is decorated with the carved image of Wagner and the Czech lion. A sticker inside the violin reads, "Johann Schäck Schönbach bei Eger, Böhmen; Musikinstrumente- Erzuegung ; Viloinen, Violas, Cellos, etc - Specialists in italienischen Imatatienen Lieferung und Regaratur aller Arten Musikinstrumente", which roughly translates to "Johann Schäck from Schönbach on the Eger River, Böhemia, Musical Instruments, violins, violas, cellos, specialists in Italian imitations, ....all types of musical instruments".
