DescriptionA hand-painted vase with a circular base that gradually tapers and then curves outward to form a bowl shape at its top. The bowl is painted to look like a peacock with a bird's head formed on its edge. A long handle extends from the top of the bowl to nearly the bottom of the vase on the opposite side. This handle acts as the folded peacock tail. The remainder of the vase is painted cream with a mottled tan over it. Upon this are green vines with circular leaves. Evenly spaced pink circles are formed and painted around the vase's bottom with black lines in between. A dark blue ring lies beneath around the very base of the vase. The inside is plain white. A stamp on bottom reads, "Made in Czecho-slovakia Amphora".On View
