DescriptionAn amphora vase, hand-painted a mottled mauve. A Roman soldier in brown and tan garments is painted on its front side with a small light blue flower on either side. A warped square is painted on the vase's back, with white and green checkerboard pattern inside. There is a light blue flower above and below. The vase has a bulbous vessel wih a short neck and base at its lower half. Its top half has a long neck and a handle on each side with a small spout. The handles are painted a very dark blue, as are its base and top edge. The base is also decorated with interlocking light blue and dark teal-green triangles. Its top is decorated with dark teal-green and green leaves. The vase's inside is cream. A stamp on the bottom reads, "Made in Czechoslovakia Amphora".On View
