DescriptionAn amphora pitcher, hand-painted royal blue and covered with light brown Egyptian symbols. A very dark blue circle, each containing an image, lies on its front and back. On the front is a woman wearing Egyptian garb and the back is the god Anubis, both in various shades of brown. A row of tiny circles in light blue and white surrounds the front image. Alternating light blue and white triangles surround the back. The top of the pitcher has two spouts on opposing sides with a sizeable hole in between and a handle, all of which are very dark blue. The bottom is also very dark blue with scarab designs around in teal green and blue. The inside of the pitcher is light green-tan lusterware. A stamp on its bottom reads, "Made in Czechoslovakia Amphora".On View
