DescriptionA Moravian kroj consisting of a shirt and vest, pants, belt and boots. The shirt is white with geometric embroidery in black, white and pale yellow around its collar and down its front placket. Black floral embroidery covers the lower half of each sleeve with white bobbin lace around each cuff. There are four white ribbons with white embroidery affixed the collar. The teal-blue vest is covered with a silvery white brocade. The vest has red edging. It has a keyhole opening decorated with multi-colored floral embroidery and accented with silver sequins. Silver lace augmented with floral embroidery and sequins runs around its neckline. The back side of the vest is covered with floral embroidery, a variety of beads, circular silver sequins and star-shaped silver sequins. Two short lengths of the silver lace are even incorporated into the design. The kroj has a pair of dark navy blue, woolen pants with wide black cording in vertical loops on its front and horizontally across its back, just under the waistband. There is a pocket on the front left side, under waistband that is accented with red fabric and yellow stitching. The pants are held up with a long, dark brown, leather belt that is covered with white grommets arranged in circular designs. The kroj is finished with a pair of black knee boots.
