DescriptionA natural wood fan featuring a painted scene from 'The Bartered Bride' on one side. It is a village scene with a man leaning against a wooden structure. He has one arm around a woman who has her arms draped about his shoulders. Both wear traditional folk dress. Large, red poppies with long, green stems and leaves are painted on either side of the scene. A white ribbon is woven through the tops of each slat to hold the fan together. A metal loop is secured to the base of the fan, a small, plastic bead at either end of the loop.On View
