DescriptionPart of a Jihlava kroj consisting of a blouse, petticoat, skirt, apron, and a pair of shoes. The white cotton blouse has a bobbin lace collar. Bands of cut work and white floral embroidery run down its front and around its cuffs. The petticoat made of thin off-white cotton with twill tape ties. Its lower half is decorated with cut work and embroidery. The hemline is scalloped and accented with white on white embroidery. The dark blue skirt is made of heavy cotton with a tightly gathered waist. Its hemline is decorated with a simple band of silk in a lighter blue color. The apron is made of waxed cotton in a dark royal blue. A narrow band of floral cross-stitching in red, yellow, green, white, pink, blue, and orange traverses it width. The pair of shoes have one inch heels and are made of black velvet. They are lined with brown leather and striped fabric. The tops are decorated with a black velvet bow. A semi-circle of black leather lies on each side of the shoes, near the ball of the foot.
