DescriptionAn egg-shaped, ceramic basket hand-painted a pastel yellow. Its base and handle are lavender, and thin lines of lavender highlight its top edge. A long line of roses and leaves is formed into the front and back of the basket. They are painted pink and green. A small circle is cut into the front and back just above the line of roses. A small cluster of roses and leaves lies on either side of the basket, at the handle bases. The same leaves and a vine extend some of the way up the handle. The inside of the basket is painted white. A label formed into the bottom reads, "Czechoslovakia 1944".On View
