DescriptionA red glass chandelier painted white and decorated with handpainted floral groupings. Small circles that allow the red to show through are cut into the glass. Its 21 inch base resembles a table lamp with a short neck at the top and bottom. A concave dish lies at both ends. Six clear glass prisms hang from the bottom bowl and cording (with a chain) comes out of top. Five of the six bottom prisms are made up of three circular pieces of glass and one teardrop-shaped piece while the sixth prism is four circular pieces with one large sphere beneath. There is another bowl with a scalloped edge near the bottom of the base. Six curved arms emerge from the bowl like tenticles. A small bowl that holds a faux candle made of plastic and glass lies at the end of each. Five prisms, made up of a circular piece of glass with a teardrop-shaped piece beneath, hang from each bowl. Six of these same prisms hang around the edge of the top bowl, along with six chains made of circular pieces of glass. Each chain breaks of into two chains that attach beneath the candle bowls.
