DescriptionThe uniform of a Major General in the Slovak Army that consists of a shirt, tie, coat, pants and hat. The white, buttondown shirt has matching "shoulder boards" on both shoulders. There is a pocket on either side of the front. A white patch with a yellow border is affixed over the right pocket. It depicts the Slovak shield in white, red and blue, and yellow linden leaf branches. A dark green, pre-tied necktie with a white elastic neck band is worn around the shirt's collar. It has a gold tie clip that bears the Slovak shield atop three swords that are surrounded by linden leaves.The dark green coat also has matching shoulder boards, but these are lined with braided gold cording. Five gold pins cover the board from the end by the coat's collar to its shoulder; a circular pin with crossed swords, crossed swords, two stars, crossed flanged maces with linden leaves in between. Metallic gold linden leaf branches are embroidered on either side of the collar, above the lapels. On the left sleeve lies a dark green patch with a gold border that reads, "Slovensko". Four gold crossed sword buttons run down its front and there are two at each cuff, as well. There is a pocket low on each side of the front. A pair of dark green pants matches the coat. It has three red stripes on the outer side of both legs. Two of the stripes are wide with a narrow line in between. Finally, the uniform's hat is also dark green with a narrow line of red fabric around its crown. Braided, gold cording is stretched across its front and secured with a crossed sword button on either side. A gold pin with the Slovak shield in white, blue and red, surrounded by linden leaves is affixed to the center of its front. Two metallic gold linden leaf branches are embroidered on the bill.On View
