DescriptionA Major Genera's uniform from the Slovak Army that consists of a shirt, coat, necktie, pants and hat. The white, buttondown shirt has "shoulder boards" of matching fabric on both shoulders. Four pins on each board from collar to shoulder; a crossed swords pin, two starts, crossed flanged maces with linden leaves in between. There is a pocket on either side of the front. The Slovak shield in white, red and blue atop three silver swords is embroidered onto the left pocket. A wreath of gold linden leaves surrounds them. Its light green coat has blue-green shoulder boards lined with braided gold cording. Five gold pins cover each board from the collar to shoulder; a circular pin with crossed swords, crossed swords, two stars, a Slovak shield in white, blue and red with gold linden leaf branches on either side. Gold linden leaf branches with the letters "ASR" incorporated into the design are embroidered on either side of the collar, above the lapels. On the left sleeve, is a green patch with gold and black borders. It depicts the Slovak shield atop three silver swords with a wreath of gold linden leaves behind. A narrow section of colorful bars sewn and pinned above the left breast pocket. Six gold crossed sword buttons run down either side of the front for a double-breasted closure. There are three of the same buttons at each cuff and a pocket low on each side of the front. A dark blue-green necktie with a gold tie clip that bears the Slovak shield is worn around the shirt's collar. The uniform's dark green pants have three stripes on the outer side of both pant legs. Two of the stripes are light green and wide with a narrow, black line in between. Maroons suspenders button to the front and back of its waistband. The uniform is finished with a light green hat that has a narrow line of black fabric around its crown. Braided, gold cording is stretched across its front and secured with a crossed sword button on either side. A strip of dark green fabric serves as a backdrop for the cording. A gold pin is affixed to the center of its front. The pin has an outer border of linden leaves with three silver swords through its center and the Slovak shield upon them. Two metallic gold linden leaf branches are embroidered on the bill.On View
