DescriptionA Medzilaborce kroj consisting of a blouse, vest, and skirt. The blouse is white with a wide neck and short, puffed sleeves. An embroidered band of floral design in red, yellow, purple, and green is sewn around the cuff tops, while eyelet trim with crocheted red and yellow edging finish them. The vest is made of black velvet with red edging around its neck, arms, and down its front opening. A wide band of red fabric decorated with white rick rack forms the bottom edge of the vest. A grouping of three tiny flowers embroidered in red, white, and green threading lies on each shoulder strap. Three rows of multi-colored floral embroidery are stitched on either side of the front opening. Similar floral designs cover the back of the vest, with a guitar body-shaped green and pink design lying just above. This design is surrounded by white stitching. The tightly pleated skirt is made of red fabric with black velvet trim at its hem. A grouping of three rows of black stitching lies just above the black velvet, with another grouping roughly four inches above that.On View
