DescriptionA Domažlice kroj consisting of a shirt, vest, pair of pants, two ribbons, a choice of two pairs of socks, and a hat. The long-sleeved shirt made of white cotton and decorated with an eyelet-style lace placket. There is also lace around its collar. The vest is made of dark blue wool trimmed with red cording and pockets. Colored floral embroidery lies at its collar and pockets. Eleven brass buttons with accompanying green-trimmed button holes run down the vest front. A red ribbon covered with floral embroidery is pinned to left of the collar. The knee-length pants are made of tan felt or wool. Brass buttons are affixed around its waistband and a fwe inches down each side each hip. Yellow ribbon drawstrings tighten the bottom of each pantleg. The ribbons in this kroj were both worn as neck ties and very much the same. Both are covered with colorful floral embroidery, but one is yellow and the other is green. Two pairs of white, cotton knee socks are also included with this kroj. A hat with a dark green top and brown fur sides provides finishing touch to this kroj. Its top is accented with a grass-green tassle. The hat is lined with a silky, green fabric.On View
