DescriptionA girl's kroj consisting of a bloude, vest, skirt, apron, and cap. The blouse white with white lace trim around its neck and cuffs. The vest is made of red velvet and is decorated with metallic gold cording. The cording runs down the front opening and forms floral designs on either side of the front. There is a small V shape sewn in green yarn on the back. The skirt alternates between panels of pink and light blue fabric. A band of red fabric is folded and sewn around the hem to create a kind of ribbon accent. It has a pink paisley waistband and is slightly gathered. The apron is white with white lace around its hem and purple ribbon ties. The kroj is finished with a white cap that has a large white bow on its back side. Its front edge is scalloped and accented with repeating triangular designs made of cut work circles and white embroidery. The bows edges are decorated in the same way.On View
