DescriptionA child's kroj consisting of a blouse, vest, skirt and apron. The blouse is white with elbow-length, puffed sleeves. It has a lace collar with white machine embroidered ribbon around its top. . The ribbon is covered with alternating red and green floral designs, and its top edge is lined with green rick rack. A large, multi-colored floral design covers most of each sleeve. The cuffs are scalloped and finished with mauve embroidery, and yellow and navy dots. The cuffs are also gathered with ribbon identical to the collar. Navy, yellow and green rick rack stitching lie both above and below the ribbon. The vest is also white, but is covered with multi-colored floral embroidery. Both sides of the front opening, the arms and neckline are lined with salmon fabric. A wide band of metallic silver lace also lies on either side of the front opening. These bands are accented with sequins and scalloped, grass green felt. The left side of the front opening has five light green, carved buttons while the right has five metallic silver loops. Silver lace, identical to the front, lines the salmon fabric on the back side too. Its white skirt is covered with a blue, salmon and green floral print. It is tightly pleated around its back and sides, but its front is straight. Dark blue rick rack lines its hemline with red ribbon affixed above it. Black lace and green ribbon lie above the red. Finally, its black apron has one horizontal pleat across its bottom. A wide band of multi-colored floral embroidery runs across its hemline and up both sides. Its waistband is made of white fabric that is covered with a pink, red, blue and white floral print. There is a yellow ribbon tie on either side that is covered with red, blue and green floral machine embroidery. The sides of each ribbon are finished with white and light blue cording.On View
