DescriptionPart of a Piešt’any kroj, a blue silk vest covered with embroidered white flowers (jaquard or damask). Five silver buttons run down its front. Metallic silver trim decorated the front and back. Strips of white and tan fabric are affixed around the bottom of the vest, extending it. This was done to make the vest longer as its wearer's body changed over time, or to give the wearer the ability to tuck it under the skirt's waistband.On View
