DescriptionA Moravian kroj consisting of a rubac, blouse, vest, skirt, apron, and headscarf. The rubac is white with a woven bodice and a heavy cotton skirt. The bodice is decorated with red embroidery. The blouse is white and decorated with dark blue embroidery at its cuffs, sleeves, and shoulders. Its collar is rectangular at the back and is also embroidered with dark blue and white. Its edges are scalloped and trimmed with blue and white crocheted lace. The cream-colored vest is made of wool with black piping at the arm and red piping down the front and around the neck. A green satin band is sewn around its bottom and up either side of its front. Eighteen white buttons and multicolor embroidery decorate the front of the vest. The heavily pleated skirt is in a yellow-orange fabric with a red embroidered waistband and the apron is white fabric covered with a blue and red floral print. Two dark blue bands of ribbon are sewn near its hem. White lace finishes its bottom edge and both sides. Finally, the kroj is completed with a red headscarf that has a floral print border in blue, yellow, white, and red. There is a floral print in its center as well.
