DescriptionA girl's Kyjov kroj consisting of a blouse, vest, collar, three petticoats, skirt, apron, and sash. The blouse is made of white starched cotton or linen with a thin white drawstring at the throat. Large, puffed sleeves are decorated with black floral embroidery, as are the cuffs. The gray vest has a satiny red trim around its edges. Rows of sequins decorate the arms, neck, and front. The front and back arecovered with orange, white, and red embroidered flowers, along with three fabric circles on the back. Each is outlined with sequins and red, white, and yellow stitching. The white cotton or linen collar is nearly covered with black floral embroidery. There is black and white bobbin lace on three of its four sides. All three petticoats are white with bobbin lace around the hemlines. One has a scalloped hem. The dark red cotton skirt has a bright red waistband and nine evenly spaced white, yellow, and green flowers embroidered throughout. The black apron is covered with multi-colored floral embroidery. Its bottom is trimmed with white, red, green, and yellow bobbin lace. The black sash is covered with floral embroidered in red, yellow, and green threading.
