DescriptionA Velká nad Veličkou kroj consisting of a rubac, blouse, vest, skirt, and apron. The cream-colored rubac is made of heavy linen. Its woven bodice is decorated with red, blue, and white embroidery. The cropped blouse is made of white cotton with short, gathered sleeves and a sizable rectangular collar. The collar and shoulders are decorated with orange and blue embroidery. The cream-colored vest is made of heavy wool. Green velvet bands are appilied around the neck, down the front, and around the bottom. Four lengths of black, braided cording are applied on the front, along with buttons, piping, rick rack, and multi-colored embroidery. The tightly pleated skirt in in bright gold fabric. A small piece of red-orange and black embroidery is affixed just under the waistband. The skirt in a kroj is worn on the back of the body with the apron on the front. The apron is made of thin, white cotton covered with a blue and red floral print.
