DescriptionA Velká nad Veličkou kroj consisting of a rubac, skirt, apron, blouse, vest, and cap. The white woven rubac has red and black embroidery around its bodice. It is gathered at the waist. The heavily pleated skirt is in gold cotton with a blue and white embroidered waistband. The white apron is covered with a blue and orange floral print. Pale green lace trims its hem with matching ribbon bands are sewn above. The white blouse has a flat, sailor-style collar. The collar is covered with red, white, blue, and orange embroidery. The blouse's shoulders, sleeves, and cuffs also embroidered. The vest is made of cream-colored felt with black piping around the sleeves and red piping on the remainder of its edges. Brown velvet trims its yoke and bottom. Its fron is covered with multi-colored floral embroidery and black braided cording. Each side of its front opening is decorated with four pink buttons. The white cap has orange embroidery around its front. This kind of embroidery is typical of tablecloths. The face is framed with white lace.On View
