DescriptionAn off-white dress, probably a wedding dress, with long sleeves and skirt. A four inch lace overlay covers each cuff. The bodice is full and loose, which was the style of the time. The dress has a high neckline of lace that extends to the shoulders and down the bodice to form a placket on its front and back. A wide lace ruffle is stitched around the bottom of the placket on both sides of the bodice. A length of turquoise, velvety ribbon wound in a floral shape is affixed to the left side of the front placket. Aside from the ribbon and lace, the dress is plain.
