DescriptionA kroj from Trenčianske Teplice that consists of a blouse, jumper, apron and headscarf. The blouse is white with large, puffed sleeves. There is a wide section of floral embroidery over the top of each sleeve. The stitching is in orange, yellow, black and green. There is additional embroidery around the collar in the same colors. Worn over it is a navy jumper with a pleated skirt that is covered with a yellow floral print. The front of the bodice is covered with two large panels of embroidery in maroon, blue, yellow and white threading. Its neckline and front opening are finished with orange rick rack. The bodice ties closed with orange cording. Its apron is white with a vertical line of lace running down its center. There is a very wide band of lace decorated with repeating yellow bird designs in the middle of the apron. One narrow band of lace lies directly above and below, with another roughly three inches below that. Each one is accented with orange rick rack. White and orange lace runs across the apron's hemline and up each side. Its ties are made of a fushia, white and yellow woven ribbon. The finishing touch is the red headscarf with a wide, floral print around its border. The print is in yellow, black, teal, blue, white and red.
