DescriptionPart of a kroj from Bohemia, a gold vest covered with floral brocade in pale mauve, blue, light brown, green and white threading. A row of brick red cross-stitching runs length of the straps and arms. Wide, metallic silver lace lines the top of the bodice and its front opening. A row of sequins finishes these edges. The same lace, as well as a narrow version, run across the insert panel in between the front openings. Four eyes are on either side of the front opening with green cording to lace through. Three lengths of narrow metallic silver lace run up the back of the vest. A small rectangular bustle lies on either side of the vest's bottom edge.On View
