DescriptionA kroj from Podluží, Moravia that includes a blouse, skirt, apron and headscarf. The blouse is made of a deep red fabric that is covered with a white floral print. Wide, white lace runs down either side of its front side and across its bottom edge. A short length of a slightly different lace runs part way around the cuffs of its short sleeves. The red skirt is decorated with a band of twelve horizontal pleats located roughly five inches from its hemline. Similarly, the blue apron has only three thin rows of stitching across its bottom, roughly two inches from the hemline. The top and bottom rows are dark grey and the middle is white. The white headscarf is covered with purple polkadots, broken up only by a square of floral print in purple, lavender, mustard and green. Small, single floral designs are evenly spaced within the scarf's center. The number "49" is embroidered in one of the corners in red threading.On View
