DescriptionA Moravian style kroj consisting of an undershirt, blouse, vest, petticoat, skirt, apron, and two sashes, and a choice of two caps. The undershirt is chrocheted and resembles a vest. The blouse is white and has puffed sleeves. Its collar, shoulders, and placket are embroidered with black, gold, white, and red threading. Its cuffs are embroidered with blue, pink, green, lavendar, and yellow floral designs. There is lace at both the collar and cuffs. The vest is light blue with a white brocade. Its yoke is trimmed in green fabric with red piping. There is one green pocket with red embroidery on the vest's front, as well as six gold-colored buttons with three pale blue plastic fronds inset on each. The back of the vest is decorated with red and yellow embroidery. The white petticoat has a flounce decorated with cut work, embroidery, and a white trim. The tightly pleated skirt is in a shiny, black fabric. Its waistband is white with pink and green embroidery. A narrow, yellow ribbon covered with floral embroidery in green, orange, yellow, and blue hangs down the center of skirt. The apron is light blue and either a synthetic fabric or silk. An orange and brown trim is applied near the hem in a wavy line. Pink and yellow flowers are embroidered in each dip. There are two sashes with this kroj. One is pink with embroidered pink flowers on its bottom half and red, pink, and green roses on its top half. The other is hot pink with pale blue and yellow flowers. This kroj has a choice of two different caps of the same style. Each one resembles a small and very short apron that is tied around the head. Both are made of white fabric, one linen and the other gauzy. The linen cap has blue stitching around its edges and its front is covered with colorful floral embroidery in red, blue, orange, green, and purple. The face is framed with white lace. The front of the gauzy cap is embroidered with purple, yellow, red, pink, blue, and green flowers that are bordered with an embroidered band in purple, red, and white. Immediately behind this is a series of single row stitching in red, green, and pink.
