DescriptionA victory medal awarded for service in a Slovak brigade that fought with the French in WWI. The medal is bronze in color with a rainbow-colored ribbon. The medal is circular with the Czech lion on a shield in its center. The lion seems to hold a small Slovak shield and there is a banner behind the larger shield that reads 1914 on one side and 1919 on the other. The words SVETOVA VALKA ZA CIVILISACI, translated to The World War for Civilization, are printed around the medal's edge. The image of a woman with wings lies on its back.On View
