DescriptionA child's kroj that consists of a blouse and vest, skirt and apron, sash, headwreath and three identical ribbons. The blouse is off-white and decorated with cut work and embroidery in blue, orange and yellow threading. These designs run around the collar and down the front, around the cuffs and cover top of each sleeve. The collar, cuffs and left side of the front are scalloped in a wolf's teeth design. This is intended to protect the wearer from evil. The mustard yellow vest is covered with a silvery white floral brocade. Mustard-colored ribbon decorated with machine embroidery flowers in salmon, dark blue and green threading runs down both sides of the front opening, around the collar and around both sleeves. Bronze cording with iridescent sequins line the ribbon on both the front and back sides of the vest. The skirt and apron are nearly same. Both are made with teal-blue fabric that is decorated with bright yellow and white floral embroidery across the hemlines. Mustard-colored rick rack and pale yellow lace also follow this path. The only difference is that all of these elements continue up both sides of the apron. The kroj's sash is a dull yellow color, but it is decorated with machine embroidered floral patterns in dark blue, salmon and green threading. The embroidery makes it more eye-catching when worn. Thea headband is made of faux flowers in cornflower blue, yellow and white. There are also sparse green leaves. Finally, three ribbons identical to the sash are used to accent the head wreath.
