DescriptionPart of a Slovak kroj, a long, black apron with a tightly gathered waistline under a waistband of brown and metallic silver embroidery. Rows of pink and yellow cording, sequins, and red and white cording run around the underside of the waistband. The apron's hemline is scalloped and decorated with floral and geometric tambour embroidery. A wide row of larger floral designs lies roughly two inches above the hemline. This embroidery continues up both sides of the apron, along with dark blue rick rack and the decorated, scalloped edges. A colorful floral design lies in both of the apron's bottom corners.
