DescriptionPart of a woman's kroj, a wide, red headband covered with circles of red, gold, silver, and dark blue beads. Additional lines of beading lie in between the circles and at either end of the headband. An amulet featuring an image of Mary and child is sewn in the center of the main circle. Leafy, metal beading with three hanging flowers lies in the circles on either side. A length of tightly gathered ribbon acts as border between the headband and long hanging ribbons attached to one side. All of the ribbons are machine embroidered with colorful floral designs. The gathered ribbon is red while the hanging ribbons number in three yellow, four peach, and four red. Twelve metal beads of different design are sewn onto the yellow riibons. Each bead has a colorful flower attached to its face and all have hanging elements like flowers, ovals, leaves, and other shapes.
