DescriptionPart of a Piešt’any kroj, a white blouse with long, puffed sleeves. The upper half of each sleeve is covered with right orange and yellow cut work and embroidery. This is echoed at the cuffs, but in wolf's teeth designs. This is a protective symbol and thought to prevent evil spirits from affecting the wearer, especially when stitched around any opening on a garment. The blouse's collar is finely crocheted in orange and yellow threading. On View
