DescriptionPart of a Piešt’any kroj, a red vest covered with a colorful floral brocade. Its edges are trimmed with gold ribbon that is covered with floral embroidery in salmon, purple, and light green. Scalloped metallic gold lace accented with sequins lines the inner edge of the ribbon. This is echoed on the vest back. There are two metal clasps on the front of the vest, one side of each clasp on either side. A short length of red ribbon is affixed at the top of the vest front. A band of off-white fabric is sewn around the vest's bottom edge. This was common practice and was done to accommodate changes in the wearer.
