DescriptionA child's Kyjov kroj consisting of a blouse, vest, collar, skirt, apron, and cap with ribbon. The blouse is white with a drawstring at its neckline and cuffs. Black bobbin lace trims the cuffs with cut work and floral embroidery in black threading just above it. A band of black floral embroidery and cutout traverses the center of each sleeve. The vest is made of a dark blue fabric covered with a multi-colored brocade. All of its edges are trimmed with narrow lengths of red fabric. The seams where the dark blue and red meet are all trimmed with metallic gold cording and sequins. The white collar is a rectangular shape and nearly covered with black floral embroidery. Narrow, black bobbin lace trims three of its four sides. The skirt is red with two horizontal rows of floral embroidery in yellow and green stitched around its diameter. It is gathered at the waist. The apron is black with white and red bobbin lace sewn across its hem. Its lower half is nearly covered with multi-colored floral embroidery in pink, red, green, yellow, blue, white, and gold. A white lace cap finishes this kroj. It is largely covered with embroidered ribbons, metallic lace, beads, and sequins. The face is framed with white lace. The cap has a detachable dark purple ribbon covered with floral embroidery in red, orange, dark red, yellow, and green at its nape.
