DescriptionA Vlčnov kroj consisting of a blouse, vest, skirt, headscarf, and a choice of two aprons. The blouse is white with tightly pleated elbow-length sleeves. A wide band of red and black cross-stitching and embroidery lies around the neckline, down the front, at each shoulder and around each cuff. Off-white lace lies beneath the stitching at the neckline, covering some of the stitching down the blouse front. It also trims the cuffs. The vest is made of navy blue wool with light blue cording around its bottom edge and front opening. Patches of intricate tambour stitching are affixed to the front of the vest, along bright orange pom-poms. Likewise, three teardrop-shaped patches are affixed on its back side. Bright orange pom-poms also accompany these embellishments. Three gold and red buttons run down the vest front. The tightly pleated, black skirt has a colorful embroidered waistband in blue, red, pink, green, and cream yarn. The headscarf is red with a floral print border in yellow, blue, red, white, green, and black. The aprons are very similar. Both are red covered by vertical designs, but one has a print while the other is embroidered in cream threading. Both are gathered at the waist and have similar embroidered waistbands.
