DescriptionA Kyjov kroj consisting of a blouse, collar, petticoat, skirt, apron, and headwreath. The blouse is made of white linen and has large, puffed sleeves. Its cuffs are covered with black floral and geometric embroidered. The collar is white cotton covered with black floral embroidery. Three of its sides are trimmed with black and white lace. The petticoat is made of white linen and is hemmed with white crocheted lace. The red skirt is decorated with clusters of embroidered flowers in white, yellow, and green evenly spaced throughout. It is gathered at the waist. The apron is made of dark blue cotton or linen. It is covered with colorful floral and geometric embroidery in white, red, green, light blue, lavendar, and pink. Ecru bobbin lace with red and green inserts is sewn across its bottom edge. The apron is tied with an embroidered pink ribbon. The kroj is finished with a headwreath of cloth flowers in yellow, red, blue, and white twisted around a circular-shaped wire. An embroidered pink ribbon bow with long tails is at its back.
