DescriptionPart of a Tichý Potok or Torysa kroj, a bodice in green wool and made to look like a vest with a dark navy blue print skirt attached around its bottom edge. wide red fabric bands and gold embroidered ribbon are sewn around the neck and down each front opening; they extend most of the way down the back of the bodice as well (in a decorative design); one of the gold bands is sewn under each arm; bottom edge of the bodice is lined with navy fabric; an off-white panel of fabric makes up the top half of the skirt's front; the bottom half is navy fabric with a light blue, yellow and white floral print; the navy print fabric makes up the entire back of the skirt and is pleated from top to bottom; white ties with a light blue and green floral print are sewn at the waistband of the front opening for closure; five large metal hooks on either side of vest front opening for closure (weave ribbon through)
