DescriptionA Moravian kroj that consists of a blouse and vest, rubac, skirt, apron and headscarf. The white blouse is short in length and has short, puffed sleeves as well. A band of geometric embroidery in dark blue, bright orange and white threading lies at each shoulder. A narrow band of dark blue and bright orange cross-stitching runs around the center of each sleeve. The cuffs are finished with the same threading. Its wide collar is covered with dark blue, bright orange and white stitching in both geometric and floral designs. Dark blue and white bobbin lace runs around its edges. The woolen vest is also white with green velour across its bottom and up both sides of its front opening. The velour also runs around its neck and decorates its pocket covers. Short lengths of wide, red cording accent the covers while a narrow version of the cording lines the rest of the velour on one side, red edging on the other. Dark blue shoestrings decorated with multi-colored embroidery and buttons are sewn on the center of the vest's front side. There is a small embroidered design beneath and larger designs above it. The bottom of the back side and the arms are edged in black. The kroj's white rubac is decorated with dark and light blue geometric embroidery around its bodice. The light blue section is accented with teal-green stitching. The garment has two straps at its top. The golden yellow skirt is heavily pleated skirt and has an embroidered waistband. The embroidery is black, red, white and arranged in geometric patterns. To contrast, the pale blue apron is covered with a red, blue, yellow and green floral print. A line of white cording with red, dark blue and green detailing runs around its waistline. The hemline is finished with black cording and lace. It has red, woven ties on either side of its waistband. The finishing piece is a red headscarf covered with a golden yellow, dusky blue, black and white floral print. It is formed and starched into a cap shape with half of the scarf hanging down from the back.
