DescriptionPart of a Hel'pa kroj, a white shirt that is nearly covered with intricate floral and geometric cross-stitching (on its front). The stitching is primarily red with pink, blue, orange, green. and brown. Identical stitching is at each cuff and around its collar. Red embroidery lies at each shoulder. Birds are incorporated into the floral and geometric design of the cross-stitching. Their symbolism is two-fold in that birds promise a good harvest and prosperity, and also embody the concept of love, marriage, and motherhood.
