DescriptionA Plzeň kroj that consists of a blouse and vest, skirt and apron, a shawl and cap with bow. The blouse is white with puffed sleeves. Its drawstring collar is decorated with cut work and white embroidery in floral designs. Similarly, its drawstring cuffs are finished with wide, white bobbin lace. The light green vest is covered with a red and yellow floral print. Five stays are sewn into either side of its front and three more are sewn into each side of the vest. Five holes lie on either side of the front for lacing with red ribbon. The kroj's light blue skirt has a purple machine embroidered ribbon sewn around its hemline, which is finished with navy ribbon. The floral designs on the purple ribbon are in salmon, dark mauve, yellow, white and light green threading. The skirt's waistline is pleated. The white apron is decorated with three wreaths of flowers in white embroidery and accented with cut work. One wreath is in each of the bottom corners and the third is in the center. The hemline and sides are scalloped, finished with white embroidery and accented with a single cut work circle. The pale peach shawl is covered with a floral brocade. Small bouquets within the brocade are in pale blue, pale orange and pale green threading. Matching fringe runs around two edges while the other two are raw. The kroj's cap and bow are in four pieces. The first is the white cap that has narrow pleats and cut work lace around its face. White floral embroidery accompanies the cut work. Next are the two sides of a white bow to be affixed to the back of the cap. One of each end is decorated with cut work and white embroidered lace.
