DescriptionA woman's kroj consisting of a blouse, jumper, apron, shawl and sash. The blouse is white with large, puffed sleeves and a white lace collar. Its cuffs are gathered and finished with a narrow band of white lace. It jumper is also white, but covered with a blue floral print. Its bodice is decorated with ten vertical pleats, five on each side, and has seven buttons running up its front. The skirt is tightly gathered around the back and sides. Three horizontal pleats run around the skirt, roughly eight inches from hemline. The greenish-blue apron with a gathered at waist and thin, white cording runs around the bottom edge of the waistband. Its white netted shawl is covered with white floral and geometric embroidery. A narrow band of bobbin lace runs around all of its edges. The kroj is completed with a greenish-blue sash.On View
